Even the beach gets the occasional spring shower. While our hotel offers activities for guests rain or shine, we understand if you want to do some exploration outside of the hotel and we have a few suggestions if it happens to rain on your parade in paradise!
If you had your heart set on seeing wildlife, the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center is the place to go. There, you can visit Sweet Pea the resident rescued sea turtle and learn about the various marine life that call northwest Florida home. The Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center is open Tuesday-Saturday, 12-4pm from November-May, and 10am-4pm Tuesday-Saturday from June-October. Admission is $5 per person, $4 for military and seniors 64+, and it’s FREE for children 2 and under!
Pensacola Mess Hall is a great experience specifically designed for kids that want an engaging experience. Located downtown at 116 N. Tarragona St. the Pensacola Mess Hall allows children to learn science in a hands-on manner. Admission is $8 a person, and they’re open 1-5pm Tuesday-Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturday during the school year and 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday and 1-5pm on Sunday in the summer.
Bowling is another family-friendly option that is sure to pull your trip out of the gutter. STRIKERZ, Cordova Lanes Bowling Center, DeLuna Lanes, and Oops Alley Family Entertainment are all great options around Pensacola. Pricing and availability vary per establishment.
The movies are always a great way to leave the reality of less-than-ideal beach conditions behind! Two theaters in the area are the Breeze Cinemas 8 (just three Jimmy Buffett ballads away in Gulf Breeze) and AMC Bayou 15 in Pensacola.

Jump into some fun at Skyzone located at 5007 N. Davis Hwy in Pensacola. This indoor trampoline park is open 10am-7pm every day. Tickets start at $15 for one hour.
If you’re wanting to escape the storm and put your survival skills to the test in town, Escape on Palafox and Exithis Pensacola are allow just for this. Pricing varies based on group size and theme of the escape room of choice.
